What I love most about photographing people is their eyes. Often times one can get a feel for a person’s life just from their eyes. Eyes can tell a story in any language. Here an elder woman inside a Maasai tribe watches three little children play in front of her. I photographed her gaze upon the children then eventually on me, wondering what those eyes have seen in her lifetime. The Maasai lifestyle is one of change. They migrate with their livestock constantly picking up, relocating, and settling again.
