These gentle giants roam the African planes foraging with a bird’s eye view. Found across Kenya and Tanzania, Masai giraffes carry irregular star like blotches. Masai giraffes are the tallest of their subspecies also making it the tallest land species on earth. Considered endangered, their population has decreased by 52% in recent decades due to habitat loss and poaching. Efforts are being made across Africa to help their survival. Here a beautiful adult bows down to nibble on Serengeti grasses in a delicate and graceful way.
