I have seen many photos of Mount Kilimanjaro with impressive wildlife in front of it, and I wanted to see if I could create something new with the mountain as my subject. The weather is always changing around the mountain, so getting a clear shot is rather challenging. When I found this field of sunflowers, I knew I had to take the opportunity to capture the mountain with such a foreground. I raced up a tree and took this as the sun was setting on her.
