Limited edition fine art print of 1 – Chicago has many iconic views. This one, in particular, uses the North Avenue walkway, which looks south, to capture one of the world’s best cities. Taken in winter, I wanted to use the ice frozen to the corrugated shoreline to accentuate the leading line, drawing the viewer’s eyes towards the city. The faint morning light framed the skyline perfectly. As a Chicago resident, I will never tire of sharing this beautiful city with the world. Photo © copyright by Derek Nielsen.
