Chicago 2023

I was exploring one of Chicago’s largest city parks for wildlife when I found this beautiful hawk sitting atop a street lamp, searching for its next meal. As a wildlife photographer, I am used to searching the bush for animals, but to see such a predator using man-made features stood out to me. Animals will adapt to their surroundings if they have to.
