Antarctica, 2020
Antarctica is a playground for photographers. Photography ideas are endless in a place where penguins outnumber humans, and ice comes in more shades of blue than the mind knew possible. I wanted to highlight the funky formations found in the melting icebergs inside a landscape called the iceberg graveyard. Towering sculpture-like formations dart in and out of small islands. The summer melt creates perfect curved lines, dimples, and abstract designs in the ice. People say you go down to the Antarctic for the wildlife and return for the ice. I can verify how true that is.
