Golden Glory

Telluride, 2023

Limited edition print of 6 – In the fall of 2023, I got out to Telluride a week before the colors started to change. It was a shock they were not already in peak color. I was afraid I was going to miss it all, but then things got really interesting. A cold snap came across the area, dumping snow in the high mountains but also accelerating the colors. The combination was stunningly beautiful. To see the two seasons collide in a perfect symphony of color was a sight to see. Wilson Peak, the main mountain featured in this photo, is the same mountain on the Coors Light can and is often found in product advertising because of its beautiful shape.
