Grand Teton National Park Wyoming, 2020
This view from the Snake River Overlook is one of the most iconic places inside the entire National Park. Made famous by Ansel Adams, this view takes in all the best features of the park’s landscape. From the growing pines to the towering mountains in the background, this place is great to take it all in. As the pines continue to grow, the view will begin to disappear, so if you are planning to get there to see it do it soon. During my time there, most of my days were spent driving up and down this stretch of the park looking for wildlife. Often, I would stop here just turning off the car gazing at the peak in front of me. On this day, a big storm was rolling in, and wildlife photography was going to be a challenge, so my mind switched gears, and I focused on the dramatic scene unfolding on this magnificent landscape.
