Zion National Park is one of my favorite parks in the National Park system. The incredible amount of exposed red rock is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts. I found myself living out there during the height of the pandemic to get into nature and away from people. This image from the bridge just inside the park entrance is a classic. Unfortunately, now the park service doesn’t allow photographers to set up on the bridge, but I managed to get this one before the rules changed. Something about this view really works. I decided to shoot this fall scene in black and white to try something a little different. Black and white photography has a way of freezing time better than photography already does.
