Yucatan Peninsula, 2023

Watching the sky build over the Caribbean Sea, listening to the waves break, and feeling the warm ocean breeze on my face was the perfect recipe for relaxation. I don’t spend enough time around the sea to have it become monotonous. Every visit is sacred. I knew I wanted to use the boardwalk and distant hut as the subject matter for an image but I had to wait for the right conditions. The clouds above formed a fiery arch over the hut framing it perfectly. I took a deep breath, framed the scene, and enjoyed my Yucatan Zen. Limited edition fine art print of 6.
