No other group of people has had such a profound impact on me in my life. The Hadzabe tribe of East Africa represents to me the way life used to be for humans. Starting each day without checking our phones or email. Going out and sustainably searching for organic food. A place where the community is more important than keeping up with the neighbor’s possessions. Living off the land instead of destroying it with chemicals. I’ll never forget their kindness to me or the lessons of human connection. What it means to be a guest and how returning as a friend filled my heart more than I could have ever expected.
