On a cloudy rainy day in Milford Sound, New Zealand, I took shelter beneath the tree canopy alongside a crystal-clear glacial river to capture a few long exposures. The water filtered down from the mountains seems nearly fake to have such a bluish hue to it. I sipped on a local beer just taking in the sounds of water flowing over the rocks. More often than not it is these simple moments I cherish most while traveling.
