The Tower Bridge near the Tower of London is a majestic sight. Standing tall above the Thames river it was built between 1886 and 1894. This iconic structure connects a new modern London to the Tower of London, one of London’s most historic fortresses. My first trip to London I crossed this beautiful structure on foot. It definitely moved me. To me it represents a bridge from the past to the future.
