Limited edition fine art print of 6 – I have always been a huge fan of Chicago architecture. From the days of being a small child looking up at the “Sears” Tower to admiring the views high above the city in the John Hancock building, Chicago has always been my home. As a nature photographer, my passion has always led me to the forest and mountains in search of beautiful landscapes full of wildlife. However, something inside me wanted to capture my favorite city in a unique way—abstract and in black and white. My creative eye was drawn to Jeanne Gang’s Aqua building. The way she designed the flowing balconies off the glass and steel structure lends itself to endless compositions. I am thankful for her creativity.  Photo © copyright by Derek Nielsen
