The tulip bloom in Chicago is a beautiful reward for surviving the cold winter. Each year tens of thousands of tulips decorate Chicago’s Magnificent Mile along with a few other major tourist destinations. I wanted to capture the crisp air in the morning light. At this time of day, the city was just coming alive. Spring was in the air. This delicate bouquet of tulips guides the eye through a few of Chicago’s most iconic architectural structures, including a strong contrast between new and old architecture.
