While in Tarangire National park, this heard of elephants was exploring a dried up river bed for water beneath its surface. The elder elephants dug down into the dried sandy riverbed to reveal water that was below the surface. What was meant to be a learning experience it seemed ended up being a moment for these two younger elephants to antagonize each other into wrestling matches and play time. I am unsure of their family line but I can’t help have them remind me of my own upbringing being the youngest of two boys.
